2007 Readers' Choice: Metro Areas of Texas & Louisiana

In the metro areas of Texas and Louisiana, 628 hospitals were included in the survey. Survey participants ranked their facility by responding on a 1-5 scale to 50 statements, 1 being "strongly disagree" to 5 as "strongly agree." From this list, participants voted on 96 different hospitals. The top five hospitals scoring highest in each category are among the Readers' Choice facilities. They are:

Cook Children's Medical Center, Fort Worth, TX
Methodist Sugar Land Hospital, Sugar Land, TX
Scott & White Hospital, Temple, TX
Texas Children's Hospital, Houston
The Methodist Hospital, Houston
