Since 1974, Children's Hospital Central California, Madera, has been providing NICU services for about 1,000 neonates a year in an 88-bed level III NICU plus 16 level II NICU satellite beds. It takes a strong team, dedicated to the smallest patients, to meet the challenge.
Whether they're planning renovations for their level III NICU, implementing evidence-based practice models, leading the charge for multidisciplinary councils addressing issues and practice opportunities or simply doing what they do best -- caring for their patients, the NICU Team at Children's Hospital Central California, has proved that no task is too challenging for them to handle.
In this ADVANCE exclusive video, we congratulate the NICU Team at Children's Hospital Central Californa for being selected as the 2009 Best Nursing Team!
