Gail Guterl
Gail Guterl began her career as a newspaper reporter in Mount Vernon, Westchester County, NY. She was the first recipient of the Jacqueline Z. Radin Memorial Award, from the New York Newswomen's Society in 1974. She began at Merion Publications as a writer for the laboratory magazine in 1995 and created our first two regional nursing magazines and has been editor of them since 1998.
Robin Hocevar
Robin Hocevar joined ADVANCE for Nurses in 2007 as a regional editor. Prior to that, she was an associate editor for Randall Publishing. She graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in journalism and English.
Valerie Neff Newitt
Valerie Neff Newitt joined ADVANCE for Nurses in December 2008 as senior associate editor. Prior to joining Merion, she worked as a columnist, reporter and editor for two daily newspapers, and has been published in several national magazines. She is a graduate of Wilkes University, Wilkes-Barre, PA.
