Palomar Pomerado Health (PPH) in San Diego recently partnered with Albertson's supermarkets and Sav-on pharmacies to provide in-store health centers in two retail locations. The intention of both expresscare centers, located in Rancho Pe-asquitos and Escondido, is to provide high-quality medical care that is both convenient and affordable.

Basic healthcare services are provided by family nurse practitioners who have completed advanced education and training in the diagnosis and management of common medical conditions. They also work in collaboration with board-certified family physicians associated with PPH. Appointments are not necessary while the centers are open 7 days per week. Most visits are expected to take an average of 20 minutes and insurance is not required.
