What Makes Nurses Tick?

View Comments (6)Print ArticleEmail Article

If you were hiring the next nurse for your unit, what would you look for? Where would you want to go on vacation? What's your typical lunch? This series of for-entertainment-only surveys looks at just what does make nurses tick.

The surveys are quick and fun, and we'll be posting new ones roughly every 2 weeks. Fill one out now for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate to the ADVANCE Healthcare Shop! We'll reveal the results in December.

Take the fourth and final survey! (And if you didn't take the first three surveys, that's just fine.)

If I were looking to employ another RN in our practice, she or he would have to be a Team Player and be able to work with all walks of life. One who is optimistic and one who loves pleasing our clients. One who can stay on top of the learning curve when it comes to cosmetic procedures and cosmetic dermatology. One that can work well with others and be able to make our client's feel comfortable and confident with the procedures they choose to have. One that can educate the clients and make them feel special about themselves and make our clients feel that they are the only thing that matters. We want to provide the best care to our clients and make their experience a positive one and like no other. We want our clients to love our entire staff and see that we truly care about the wellbeing. I want our staff to show that in the care that they provide to our clients. And I want our clients to know that we care! They must be caring, compassionate, and a true team player.
