Philadelphia's "Personal Renaissance Mural" is transcending patients, families and the community. The work connects people in recovery with the healing power of art. Patients and artists from the City of Brotherly Love's Mural Arts Program embrace painting as a therapeutic activity. Many participants inspire with poems about their life experiences and hopes for the future, which are part of the mural.
