Capella University is offering free webinars for nursing continuing education at http://www.capellanursingwebinars.com.
The online university is launching its Nursing Development Webinar Series, available now, in recognition of National Nurses Week 2012, which is May 6-12.
Nurses can earn 1 contact hour for each webinar. Topics include:
- Financial Literacy
- Interdisciplinary Relationships
- Professional Models of Care
- Transformational Nurse Leadership
- Strategic Planning for Quality Improvement
"This webinar series presents an opportunity for nurses of all areas to pursue additional knowledge focused on skills of excellence within nursing practice," said Mary A. Bemker, PsyS, DSN, RN, director of the Nursing Department at Capella University.
This activity is approved by the Wisconsin Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. Most professional associations and regulatory bodies will accept these contact hours, according to Capella University.
