The Honor Society of Nursing, Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI) makes nursing research possible through its grants program.
Recently, STTI awarded 18 grants (including two co-sponsored grants) totaling $80,000.
Topics of the research projects include, among many others:
- helping low-literate adults after hip replacement surgery;
- risk for post-traumatic stress disorder in families with relatives in intensive care; and
- canine companionship during sexual-abuse interviews of children.
