Baptist Health South Florida Names Outpatient Services CNO

Baptist Health South Florida has named Tina Jones, RN, vice president and CNO of its outpatient services. The division operates 20 centers in Miami-Dade and Broward counties. In her new role, Jones will oversee all nursing functions, including urgent care, outpatient surgery, executive health and home care. She also will manage accreditation and performance improvement measures, infection control, pharmacy and clinical education.
Jones replaces Denise Harris, RN, who recently assumed the role of CNO for the new West Kendall Baptist Hospital, set to open in 2011.
Previously, Jones served as CNO at a hospital system in Missouri, a director of nursing at a Northeast Florida facility, and various nursing leadership roles in North Carolina and South Florida healthcare organizations.
