Cambridge, MD - Dorchester Operating Suite Receives Facelift

The surgical services facility at Dorchester General Hospital, Cambridge, MD, recently received $60,000 in upgrades. Renovations included new flooring and paint in the pre-procedural room and a redesigned hub for the nursing station, physician consultation area and office space.
"The newly renovated area is really enjoyable for both patients and staff," said Jane Flowers, MSN, RN, CNOR, manager, surgical and ambulatory services. "This is such a busy area, and these renovations really create a visually pleasing, comfortable environment. That is very important."
The renovations were completed with support from the community, including those who attended and sponsored the Snow Ball Masquerade, which specifically raised funds for the project.
