Advocate South Suburban Hospital is pleased to announce the appointment of Lisa Harton, MBA, MPH, RN, CIC as director of critical care services.

In her new position, Harton will oversee the emergency department, the ICU, the dialysis/IV team, the respiratory team and clinical operations.

Harton joins Advocate South Suburban Hospital with extensive project management and nursing experience. Mostly recently, Harton served as a project manager for Advocate Health Care. Prior to that, she was manager of clinical operations at Advocate Hope Children's Hospital. 

She led dramatic increases in patient and associate satisfaction, and she was part of a team that significantly cut discharge transport time.  Harton's professional experience also includes nursing roles at Provena St. Joseph Medical Center and Loyola University Medical Center.
