Beebe Medical Center, Lewes, DE, recently earned the Distinguished Hospital Award for Clinical Excellence from Healthgrades. The honor places Beebe Medical Center among the top 5 percent of more than 4,500 hospitals nationwide for clinical performance.

Beebe Medical Center is one of 262 hospitals in the top 5 percent. From 2009-2011, Healthgrades' Distinguished Hospitals for Clinical Excellence averaged an overall 30.9 percent lower risk adjusted mortality rate compared to hospitals that did not achieve the award.
