The UCLA School of Nursing is now offering a Post-Master's Certificate Program for Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.
The purpose of the post-master's study program is to provide primary care educated pediatric nurse practitioners who want to work in the acute care setting the additional education needed to expand their role and management capabilities. Graduates will be eligible to sit for the national ACPNP certification exam.
The program begins Fall 2013 and can be completed in three quarters. Students are required to commute to UCLA one day a week and they can continue working full-time during the program. This is the only certificate program for Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioners being offered in the Los Angeles area.
Deadline to apply is February 1, 2013. For more information, visit nursing.ucla.edu.
