Lehigh Valley Health Network, Allentown, Pa., plans to open its 10th health center next month. The Health Center at Bangor will occupy 31,000 square feet of the 50,000-square-foot building that was formerly the Majestic Athletic Factory Outlet in Pen Argyl, Pa.
An official ribbon-cutting is set for Jan. 30. On Feb. 1 from noon to 3 p.m., an open house will allow community members to check out the health center's services, receive free health screenings, enjoy refreshments and win prizes.
Appointments now are being booked for the following services: cancer care (including infusion), screening mammography, physical therapy, home sleep studies, diagnostic services, lab services provided by Health Network Laboratories and, starting in April, cardiology services.
The health center also will feature ExpressCARE, where people can be seen without an appointment for minor illnesses and injuries.
