Rhonda Phillips, RN, recently won the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses at Carroll Hospital Center, Westminster, MD. A nurse at the hospital for 9 years, Phillips was nominated by a patient for outstanding care following the birth of the patient's first baby in the hospital's maternity unit.
"Rhonda is a role model and an amazing nurse who touches the lives of all her patients with her compassion and exceptional care," said Stephanie Reid, MBA, BSN, RN, vice president of quality and chief nursing officer.
