I'm retired now after @45-50yrs.of nursing. I attended a 3yr. school in Mass. after which I attended 3tr. at Boston College for I wanted to round out my education. I did some staff nursing also Private Duty Nursing. I enjoyed giving TLC nursing in doing Private Duty. I then went into teaching Nursing Fundamentals for 6yrs. I married did Private Duty while I was having my children. My marrige was very traumatic I divorced but continued in Nursing to support my family. I love nursing it taught me alot, introduced me to many gifted doctors and Nurses, I also took care of the most beautiful people. I was the charge nurse,for 6yrs. on a medical,surgical unit, 6yrs. of orthopedic nursing,2yrs. of working as a jail staff nurse. For the past 11yrs. I,ve been doing Home Nursing. Traveling all over Mass. I am so grateful for being a Nurse for I was educated in Nursing,also self educated @ life. I was most usefull to a great many people which made me happy. I also supported my family, kept them healthy and happy. There was also on the job learning doing what I never thought I could do. I am enjoying retirement now,ever so grateful for my Nursing career.
