About the Overseas Nurses Program (ONP)

Attend a university-based program in the UK within 2 years of your application to join the NMC register being approved
Apply and confirm your place on a NMC-approved ONP before making the trip to the UK
Be able to travel and take the course in the UK using only your U.S. passport
Secure Internet access to complete the self-directed/distance part of the ONP
Successfully complete an ONP to gain entry onto the NMC register
Find a list of NMC-approved Higher Education Institutions (HEI) offering the ONP in the UK on http://www.nmc-uk.org/. (Note that some of the providers no longer run the program. Call HEIs directly for details of course options since information about some ONPs is difficult to find on certain providers' websites.)

NOTES:
Visit http://www.xe.com/ for current exchange rates.
If you work for the NHS in England, you are eligible for a £38 contribution towards your annual registration fee from your employer. You can also claim UK tax relief on this fee.
Some UK specialist healthcare recruitment agencies and employers may offer to pay for all or part of your ONP with the condition that you work for them for a period of time.  Make sure you complete an NMC-approved course.

Kindly help me get the names of the agencies who offer to pay the onp fee with a condition that you work for them for a period of time

Santhosh: The best place to go for the answers is the ONP or NMC websites. You can find them: http://www.nmc-uk.org/Registration/ and http://www.professionalplacement.co.uk/InformationforNurses/NursingintheUK/OverseasRegistrationintheUK/tabid/169/Default.aspx Good luck.
