After receiving hundreds of entries from nursing teams across the country that make a difference in their patient's lives everyday, our panel of judges identified 10 teams that excel in adaptability, expertise, outreach and initiative. Meet the ADVANCE for Nurses 2012 National Best Nursing Teams. The 2013 Best Nursing Team contest will accept entries from Nov. 30, 2012-Jan. 31, 2013. Please check back to enter your team into the 2013 event.

While it is great to celebrate nursing, it appears that the awards were a little one sided and mostly facility based. I hope next year there is a little more diversity which might encompass other areas where we make a difference!
