Nurse Salary by State

Welcome to the 2018 interactive nurse salary map!

How much do nurses make? This map includes average full-time, part-time and per diem nurse salaries for every US state as provided by respondents who participated in our 2018 salary survey for nurses. Salary range includes all level of professional nurse from LPN to Nurse Practitioner so averages could be skewed higher for states where a larger concentration of NPs or Senior level nurses responded to each question.

Please note that salary by degree will be further represented in a future release of salary data information for comparison.

In certain cases where respondents provided no data, you may only see dashes, however all states have at least full time salary representation.

To view your state, simply roll over the state image. Information will appear in a box on the top right or the US map.
