The lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community presents with unique challenges in the healthcare industry, not the least of which is access to a provider they can trust and be comfortable with. In this session learn about the healthcare needs of this population. Also, discuss how to respond to questions from those who are learning to adjust to the knowledge that a loved one or acquaintance is part of the LGBT community.

*Identify specific care plans for the LGBT community in medicine and mental health.
*Identify lifestyle differences specific to the LGBT community for patient care.
