Staying well hydrated is a good thing. Taking care of the earth is equally good. Take some time today to appreciate the water bottles that don’t end up in landfills, the ones that keep your drinks cold (or hot) no matter how long they’ve been sitting in the break room, the ones that make it easy to stay hydrated and even, occasionally, fun.

It’s that feeling in the middle of the afternoon (or in the wee hours of the morning, if you’re on the night shift) where your energy goes AWOL and sends you scrambling for the nearest source of calories. When an empty stomach calls, take a second to appreciate the healthy options available to answer it: fruit, nuts, pretzels, yogurt, hummus, low-sugar granola bars, pumpkin seeds… the list goes on. And most come without the added burden of empty calories, so it’s even better!
