Creating Interventions for Optimal Outcomes for the Aging Adult and People with Neurological Conditions: An Interactive Case Based Presentation
Saturday, March 20, 2021 – This course has been specifically designed to focus on various patient cases using multiple videos. Each case begins with analyzing the patient’s movement and reviewing key aspects of normal movement. A discussion will occur regarding appropriate and recommended outcome measures. Each case will end by discussing a variety of intervention progressions including the use and integration of motor learning strategies. Attendees will be highly encouraged to share experiences to increase the number of intervention ideas appropriate for all settings.
Balance Challenges: Progressive Dynamic Treatment Strategies
(Balance Interventions at all Levels of Patient Care and All Diagnoses)
Sunday, March 21, 2021 – This one-day intermediate level course is designed to improve the clinician’s ability to identify specific impairments leading to balance dysfunction and then provide challenging intervention. This course will emphasize a variety of progressions, using evidence-based practice as a foundation, to provide therapists with new perspectives of how to implement appropriately challenging interventions focused on priority impairments. Video case studies will assist with the integration of the information.
Both courses will be taught by J.J. Mowder-Tinney, PT, Ph.D., NCS, C/NDT, CSRS, CEEAA and will be held via live, interactive webinars via Zoom. Multiple registration options are available.
