MORE ABOUT THE PRESENTER: Dr. David Nelson is the medical director of Barlow Respiratory Hospital. He practices full-time at Barlow’s main campus in Los Angeles and oversees the care given at Barlow’s satellite facilities. Beyond his duties at Barlow, Dr. Nelson serves on the clinical faculty of the UCLA School of Medicine. He is board certified in internal medicine and pulmonary disease. He graduated with a degree in physiology from the University of California, Berkeley and attended medical school at Loyola University in Chicago. Dr. Nelson completed both a residency in Internal Medicine, and a Pulmonary and Critical Care fellowship at the University of Southern California (USC).
